Salt Bespoke – Cookie Policy

Who we are

This Cookie Policy explains how Salt Bespoke (a trading name of Powell Collective Ltd) uses cookies on our website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly, remember your preferences, and analyse traffic. Some cookies are set by us; others are set by third parties whose services we use.

How we use cookies

When you first visit our website, you’ll see a cookie banner that asks for your consent. Essential cookies are always on (the website can’t function without them). All other cookies are off by default until you give consent. You can change your cookie settings at any time by clicking ‘Cookie Settings’ in the footer of the website.

Cookies we use

Our website is built on Squarespace. The cookies below are set by Squarespace to run the site and to power Squarespace’s built-in analytics. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta, or LinkedIn tracking; if we add these in future, this policy and the below will be updated.

  • crumb — Essential. Security; prevents cross-site request forgery. Duration: session.

  • ss_cookieAllowed — Essential. Records your cookie consent choice. Duration: 30 days.

  • ss_cvr — Analytics (Squarespace). Identifies unique visitors and tracks their sessions. Duration: 2 years.

  • ss_cid — Analytics (Squarespace). Identifies unique visitors and tracks their sessions. Duration: 2 years.

  • ss_cvt — Analytics (Squarespace). Tracks the current visit. Duration: 30 minutes.

  • ss_cvisit — Analytics (Squarespace). Tracks the current visit. Duration: 30 minutes.

If we enable Squarespace Commerce (online sales), additional essential cart and checkout cookies will be set; we will add these to the table at that point.

Managing cookies

You can:

  • Change your preferences at any time on our website by clicking ‘Cookie Settings’ in the footer.

  • Block cookies through your browser settings – most browsers allow you to refuse, delete, or be alerted before cookies are stored.

  • Be aware that blocking essential cookies may affect how the website works.

Withdrawing consent

If you change your mind about analytics or marketing cookies, you can withdraw consent at any time using ‘Cookie Settings’ on our website, or by clearing your cookies in your browser. We will not retrospectively use any data collected before you withdrew consent for new processing once you’ve withdrawn it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The latest version will always appear on our website along with the date last updated.
